We offer 1:1 mentoring online for those children and young people who feel they need someone to talk to away from the face-face support groups

Each child is matched with a trained mentor who will ‘meet’ him/her online once a week for 45minutes for 4-6 weeks, to explore feelings, coping strategies and engage in enjoyable activities suited to their age and interests.

A Bespoke Individual Approach

These sessions are really helpful for children to talk about their feelings, away from other children, with one mentor who takes the time to get to know their personality, interests and particular challenges they might want help with. Children have enjoyed baking cakes, carrying out crazy science experiments, playing online games and quizzes, and even getting support with their homework in their 1:1 sessions, in addition to talking about their experiences of parental imprisonment.
