This year we have changed our name from The MyTime Project to Time-Matters UK. We found out that there are many other projects that are also called ‘mytime’ and that some of these are in the Merseyside area, hence the name change and brand new website.

When it comes to picking a name it’s never easy; we feel the word ‘time’ is so important to us because those who go to prison ‘serve time’ but we also want a positive focus on the time we spend together in our support groups, the time that that some of our young people spend with their support workers, the time that our parents and carers spend with one another, and most importantly, the time that the children spend with their loved ones both in and out of prison. In all these ways, we know how much time matters.
